Southlake Foundation and Southlake Chamber of Commerce to Host Inaugural Southlake Global Business Council Summit
Southlake Foundation, in partnership with the Southlake Chamber of Commerce, will host the inaugural Southlake Global Business Council Summit at The Westin Southlake this Thursday, June 18, starting at 5:00 p.m. The event will bring together nearly 20 international business councils and chambers of commerce representing Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America.

With the FIFA World Cup playing nine matches just a few miles away in Arlington, North Texas is being featured prominently on the international stage. Our summit is designed to serve as a platform for global trade, investment, economic development, and international business collaboration while showcasing North Texas as a premier destination for innovation, entrepreneurship, and global commerce.
Partnering organizations include Hillwood, Texas Restaurant Association, Texas Economic Development Corporation, and TechFW. Chris E. Wallace, President & CEO of the North Texas Commission, will be a featured guest, joining business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, economic development professionals, and representatives of international organizations from across the region.
The executive panel discussion will be moderated by Ross Guieb, Executive Director of the George H.W. Bush Combat Development Complex at Texas A&M University.

Our team plans for the Southlake Global Business Council Summit to become an annual gathering that strengthens connections between local communities, international organizations, and the global business ecosystem while fostering collaboration and economic growth throughout North Texas.
Southlake Foundation was founded in 2019 as a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the Southlake community through volunteerism, cultural engagement, and youth-focused initiatives. In the past two years, the foundation has expanded its scope to bring together stakeholders in international commerce and collaboration.
Southlake Foundation has previously hosted an AI Supply Chain Summit, AI Leaders Forum, AI Energy Summit, Industry Insight Summit, and the Southlake Innovation Cup, which was inspired by the Shark Tank TV show.
