Goodwill North Central Texas announced today the promotion of Christy Allen to Vice President of Human Resources. As a member of the executive leadership team, Allen will oversee all aspects of the organization\u2019s human resources function, including strategic initiatives related to compensation, recruitment, training, employee relations and compliance with labor laws.<\/p>\n

In her new role, Allen will spearhead critical personnel management functions that support the nonprofit\u2019s continued growth and mission impact across North Central Texas. Allen joined Goodwill North Central Texas in 2019 as an HR Generalist and was promoted to Human Resources Manager in 2022. In 2024, she was named Director of Human Resources, where she led administration, employee relations and recruitment efforts while helping strengthen the organization\u2019s workforce strategy and culture.<\/p>\n

\u201cChristy brings experience, compassion and energy to this role, and we are very excited to have her leading our HR team as our organization continues to grow,\u201d said David Cox, President and CEO of Goodwill North Central Texas. \u201cHer commitment to our employees, strong leadership and deep understanding of our organization make her exceptionally qualified to serve on our executive leadership team.\u201d Allen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2008 and a Master of Education from the University of Phoenix in 2013.<\/p>\n
